Journalism applications are outside of room 224. If you are interested in being on the yearbook staff, the news show, or both, please make sure to fill out an application. All forms are due by May 20th.

We have a whopping 11 books left from our sale last week! Thank you all so much for your kind words about the book. Students may still purchase yearbooks on a first come first served basis. Books will ONLY be sold from the yearbook room during 1st block from now on.

The Second Annual Spring Football Game will be held this Friday, May 20th at Wilder Stadium. Kick off will be at 6:00. Admission is free. Let's get out there and show support for our Red Devils!

We are approaching the end of the school year. There will be no charging allowed in the cafeteria. Remember if you do not have the extra money, do not put any extra items on your plate. Please clear all lunch accounts as soon as possible. Thanks and have a great safe summer. Attention Interns.... Your April paperwork was due last week. If you have not turned it in, do it immediately. Your grade is affected by late paperwork. Also, the last day of internship is this Friday, May 20 and your final paperwork is due by May 25. This count as your exam, so be sure you are attending each day, completing your paperwork, and enjoying your time on site.

Seniors, please come in and pay your library fines so that you can walk at graduation. All other students, if you have overdue books or library fines, they must be paid in order to get your report card or to get your schedule next year. The last day to check out books is Wednesday, May 18. ALL library books needs to be returned by Friday, May 25.

Calling All Artists...The 2016 Annual CHS Student Art Show will be May 23rd - May 27th. The closing reception and award ceremony will held May 27th from 6 to 8pm. Any student is welcomed to participate and all entries are $1.00. All submissions are due May 16th by 4:30pm. If you have any questions come see Mrs. Jordan in Rm 303.

All students who registered for USC dual enrollment courses are reminded that paperwork is due this week. Please turn your USC applications in to your school counselor before Friday!

May 24th will be our 2016 Spring Sports Ceremony. It will take place in the CHS gym and refreshments will be served immediately afterwards. The program will begin at 6:00 PM and all athletes are admitted free. Tickets are $2.00 - Please purchase tickets for family members before the night of the program. they may be purchased in Mrs. Eaton's office, Coach Templeton's classroom, Coach Barnes and Coach Webb's offices.

Thanks to all the candidates who read their speeches in front of the committee for graduation. You all did an excellent job, and we congratulate you all. However, we could only choose one candidate, and Harrison Fisher, you will be making your speech at graduation. Great job!
