CHS Memorial Arboretum

Laurens County School District 56 is proud to announce the establishment of the new Clinton High School campus as a showcase element of Clinton, SC. This is an initial step for anyone to honor past and future CHS alumni, faculty and staff, as well as veterans.

In 2010, the Clinton High School Agriculture Education students planted 173 noble trees across the new campus. 95 of the trees are honoring veterans from all the wars that the United States have fought in since the American Revolution. There are 60 cultivars of trees that will all reach a mature height of over 50 feet tall. Signs were placed in front of the trees with the common and scientific names of the trees as well as information on the person they are honoring. Please contact Annette Vaughan with any questions or concerns.
